Most of the issues we talk about here are pretty straightforward. I mean, yeah, they’re more complicated than either the news or politicians let on, but once you get past the fact that complex problems demand complex solutions, it’s (more…)
Notes On The Collapse
On The Politics Of Murderers
This last one was an Australian eco-fascist obsessed with global warming, an Odinist hoping to spark civil war in the United States by provoking anti-gun riots.
To which I say: So what?
He was a murdering psychopath. His politics are incidental; they merely aimed him. Without those, he’d have detonated elsewhere. (more…)
The 2020 Primaries: A Guidebook
They’re starting early. And there’s so darned many, it’s getting very hard to keep track without a cheat sheet. So, here’s my cheat sheet. Use and enjoy!
Incidentally: These judgments are partly subjective, so please tell us your own thoughts.
(Unlike Fox, MSNBC, and CNN, I’ll admit I’m biased. (more…)
2020 Is Coming Early This Year
The campaign season has begun earlier than ever! Pageantry, excitement, democracy in action — it’s like a dumbed-down version of “The Biggest Loser” without any weight loss.
Before you get sucked in by the rhetoric, I want to remind you (more…)
Bet You Won’t Share This One
“This meme shows what evil bastards Republicans are.” [LIKE] [SHARE]
It’s this sort of attitude that’s what’s wrong with America today. It’s horribly counterproductive. Your meme will never convince the unconvinced; all it does is make the Democrat feel smug without compelling them to do anything whatsoever.

It’s been a month now since I first posted my “Dispassionate Look At A Border Wall”, with the intent to provoke reasonable discussion on the issue. Because this, like most issues, is not a simple one, I’ve also written a short series on things that we need to do either before, alongside, or even instead of such a wall. These explain why it’s in the national interest of the United States to support the Mexican economy as well as compelling practical reasons to increase legal immigration.
In this article, I intend to demonstrate the absolute necessity of a new, modern, and effective approach to the War On Drugs in order to address the intolerable conditions along our southern border. (more…)
And It’s Not About A Wall Either
The present situation has almost nothing to do with a border wall.
I submit that Mr. Trump is attempting to (more…)
Talks Break Down Over Color Of Wall
Tonight, angry Democrats stormed out of a meeting with the President on border security after failing to reach an agreement over the color of the new wall panels presently under construction in the Sonora Desert.
“This is an unprecedented abuse of power,” said Minority Leader Schumer. “No president should hold the government hostage.” (more…)
The OMG News: Pentagon Resigns
Yes, you heard it here first at the OMG News! The entire building just up and quit, leaving thousands of Federal workers without offices. Sources close to the venerable Alexandria structure report that this move was an unexpected protest over the government shutdown; apparently, the five-sided colossus “felt left out” and “really wanted to go to Florida this year”.
